What should my website be?

So it occurs to me that my website should reflect my current interests, and my current endeavours. Not necessarily what I've done in the past, or what I'm dreaming of doing in the future.

While it should ideally do all of these things, I think the present moment should be the priority. How can I build a website intended for multiple authors when I am the sole writer? There's future proofing and there's delusion.

So I'm going to shelve some big ideas while I try out the smaller ones. That's what will prevent the whole thing from becoming overwhelming, which would spoil things.

The good news is that I'll have a lot of ideas to revisit in the future. After some time has passed they'll either seem fresh & genius or utterly pointless.

Either way, the smaller, easier ideas will have been tried & tested by then. I'm still building something, just on a smaller scale.

With all that said, it's still important to dream. Just don't get lost in the process.
