Yes, there is still good music.
I often hear people of all ages say that all new music is abysmal. I often read comments like this on old songs: I'm 18 years old and I hate modern music. Old music was so much better. I wish I were born in the [whatever decade].
I'm 64 and music used to be so much better. Better than the garbage they play nowadays!
After a while of hearing that, it gets a little boring. Consider that what you hear on the radio is an extremely small percentage of music released today. There are more ways of releasing & listening to new music than ever before. Simply find a new way of listening. Try something else. Find artists online that aren't getting much attention, and yet are producing some of the best music made today. You may just find your next favourite artist.
So in response to those comments:
I'm 17 and it's incredibly easy to stumble upon good music thanks to things like YouTube, radio, TV, games and just life in general. I can just look up the lyrics of songs I hear and find them instantly. Finding great music has never been easier, and I'm thankful.
Happy listening!
