Thomas Dolby
Like Rupert Holmes, I discovered Thomas Dolby twice. Once when I first heard his hit She Blinded Me with Science,
and again when I dug into the lush production of Prefab Sprout's albums.
As with many of my favourite musicians, his music grew on me the more I listened to it. I found his track Airwaves
particularly unique and unlike anything I had heard before.
It really ticks all the boxes for me: dark yet elegant, vivid and smooth. Much like Chris Isaak's Wicked Game
or ELO's When Time Stood Still
